Rafael Nadal beat David Nalbandian 6-2 6-3 to win the Brazil Open, his first title since his seven-month injury lay-off. Sunday’s match lasted for an hour and 18 minutes, and the Spaniard was able to rally in the second set and win six straight games to earn his first title since the French Open in June 2012.
