Rafa Pulls Through After Being Tested in his First Match of 2014
In his first match in 2014, the reigning U.S. and French Open titlist Rafael Nadal was tested before sneaking past German Tobias Kamke 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 6-3 in 2 hours, 25 minutes on Day 3 at the Qatar Open. Nadal broke Kamke’s serve three times, while the German could manage only one break in the hard-fought loss. Rafa continues to use the new Nike Lunar Ballistec, but upon a closer look his version seems to be so much different from the retail model.
